The gigabit ehternet is not seen under device manager or does not show any internet connection. Completely it has gone away from window 8.1 64bit. I did check the box under device manager that says SHOW hidden devices.

UPDATE 10/2/2017

Scratch that, it worked fine last wk and when I logged in this morning, stopped working all over again. Back to square one....

Just wondering if this hardware is even compatible with windows 10 at this point.

After a line of rumors and leaks, Nvidia has officially introduced its latest powerful graphics card, codenamed GeForce GTX 780 Ti. Thanks to the implementation of a full-fledged GK110 core and the increase of clock frequencies, the card is going to compete with GTX Titan model, as well as with a top-tier Radeon R9 290X from AMD. In view of such efficiency, its recommended price goes up to $700. Qualcom Atheros Ar8171/8175 Pci-e Gigabit Ethernet Controller Driver
