Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii): The 5 Best Tips

Download

Tip 1: The considered shield insert in 'Super Smash Bros. Brawl'

Download

The shield is an important element in 'Super Smash Brow. Brawl' for fighting.
With the shield you can fend off blows, kicks and throwing attacks.
But you should not use the shield too often, otherwise it will become weaker and weaker.
If you use the shield too many times, the character is also motionless for a short time.
So while you should use the shield often to protect yourself from your opponent's attacks, you should never risk losing it.

Tip 2: Jump in Super Smash Bros. Brawl

By default, the character jumps when the analog stick is pointed up. However, this is not optimal.
By double-clicking on 'Jump' and 'Move Up', you may be able to make 'incorrect entries'.
In the control options you can assign a separate button for 'jumping'.
This will make your attacks more precise and you can control your character more closely. The habituation is worthwhile.

Tip 3: Upward, severe 'rescue attack'

In the Super Smash Bros Brawl ROM, the upward-facing, heavy rescue attack is no longer a general purpose solution.
After the rescue attack (Top + B), the character has a relatively long 'cooldown'. That means she has to recover and can not immediately start the attack again. So you can not quickly repeat the rescue attack.
In addition, you 'sail' after the rescue attack slowly to the ground. In this process, you have little defensive and no control over the character.

Since you are very vulnerable at this moment, you should not use the rescue attack offensively.
A better alternative is a light attack (Up + A) and then dodge (Z key).

Tip 4: Dodge and Roll in Super Smash Bros. Brawl

In addition to the shield, there are two more ways to defend yourself in combat.
You can execute a roll with the Shield button and the Analog Stick (right or left). This allows you to perform a fast movement (roll).

When you press the Shield button and press the Analog Stick down, a short animation starts to dodge.
In this short animation, you are invulnerable, but get a short cooldown. So for a brief moment they are unable to make another attack.

Tip 5: Important Game Element - The Edge

The edge on the sidelines is very important for the fight in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
If the character falls off the platform, the character will grab the edge (if it's near the edge). This makes you invulnerable for a brief moment.

By pressing the attack button, the character jumps back onto the platform and attacks immediately.
With the shield button, you can roll back onto the platform and are invulnerable for another moment.
But you can also press with the analog stick in one direction and thus repel from the edge. A wall jump or an air attack could be the result.

Only one character can ever 'hang' on the edge. So you can 'occupy' the edge, dropping your opponent down.

The black mamba (Dendroaspis polylepis) is a species of extremely venomous snake native to parts of Sub-Saharan Africa. It is the second-longest venomous snake after the king cobra; mature specimens generally exceed 2 metres (6.6 feet) and commonly grow to 3 m (10 ft). Specimens of 4.3 to 4.5 m (14.1 to 14.8 ft) have been reported. Its skin colour varies from grey to dark brown. The species is both terrestrial (ground-living) and arboreal; it inhabits savannah, woodland, rocky slopes and, in some regions, dense forest. It is diurnal and is known to prey on birds and small mammals. Over suitable surfaces, it can move at speeds up to 16 km/h (10 mph) for short distances. It is capable of striking at considerable range and may deliver a series of bites in rapid succession. Its venom, primarily composed of neurotoxins, is frequently fatal unless antivenom is administered. Despite its reputation as a formidable and highly aggressive species, the black mamba rarely attacks humans. (Full article...)

The Mercedes-Benz W115 is a series of executive sedans introduced in 1968 by Mercedes-Benz, along with the similar W114, to replace the earlier W110 series. They were manufactured until model year 1976, when the W123 was released. W115 models featured four-cylinder engines and were marketed with the model numbers 200, 220, 230 and 240, some of which may have a 'D' appended to indicate the use of a diesel engine instead of a petrol engine. The series was designed by Paul Bracq, featuring a three-box design. At the time, Mercedes retailed sedans in two size classes, with the W114 and the W115 positioned below the Mercedes-Benz S-Class.
