Much faster upload speed than download speed over wifi

Hey guys,

So I have a bit of an odd situation. I have internet via Comcast, and the speeds we're supposed to be getting is 105 mbps up and down (or so I'm told). When testing speeds over wifi, I'm getting around 15 mbps down, and usually 10-15 mbps more on the upload. When testing directly into the router and modem (two separate devices) the speeds are closer and are around the 40-50 mbps range. My question is that the speed I should expect even when hardwired, and why is upload faster than download only over wifi?

Upload Faster Than Download Wifi

I have subscribed to a 1mbps internet package from my local ISP, problem is I haven't got that download speed, instead I've had slow connection speeds with my upload speed getting well over 1mbps while my download speed crawls at 0.2mbps (from speedtest.net and testmynet.net). How is this even possible? My ISP denies this is even happening, they say their servers are showing me having 1mbps internet speeds, but my very slow connection and speed test results all say otherwise. I'm on an ethernet connection with no other device else connected, I've tried restarting the router dozens of times, I'm not even sure how this is possible, would there be some solution to this?
